Error 120200: Missing or invalid ship to company name
What causes this error?
The error occurs when:
- Neither a person name nor company name is provided in the shipping address (at least one must be filled)
- The company name exceeds 35 alphanumeric characters
- The company name contains invalid characters or incorrect formatting
How to Fix It
- Add or edit the company name in your shipping order to ensure it’s populated with a valid value
- Check the character count – the company name must be 35 characters or fewer
- Verify the format – use only alphanumeric characters and remove any special characters that might cause validation issues
- Ensure at least one name field is filled – either the person name or company name must have a value for UPS to accept the shipment
