How does the Octolize Hide & Sort Shipping app work?
The Octolize Hide & Sort Shipping allows you to manage the shipping methods displayed at the checkout and customize the way they are presented to your customers using the ‘When-Then‘ rules. The Shipping rules can include multiple combined Conditions and Actions. Once the defined ‘When-Conditions’ are fulfilled, the app automatically triggers the corresponding ‘Then-Actions’, giving the possibility to hide specific shipping methods, display only selected ones, conceal the paid delivery options or sort the shipping rates by name or price as a result.
Can I set a certain shipping method to be placed on a specific position at the checkout?
Sure, this is exactly what the Reorder specific shipping method Action was designed for. Using it, you can not only specify the circumstances when the particular shipping method should be reordered, but also determine where it should be repositioned:
Can I apply shipping rules to Draft Orders as well?
Unfortunately, no. The Shopify Delivery Customization API used by the app does not support the Draft Orders yet, so the Shipping rules cannot be applied to them at the moment. Once the Shopify updates the limitations above, the app will be in line with these changes as well.
Does the app work fine with the shipping methods coming from the 3rd party apps?
Yes, unlike some other competing solutions, Octolize Hide & Sort Shipping allows you to manage not only the Shopify in-built shipping methods, but also the methods coming from the 3rd party apps, without any additional charges or the need to upgrade your plan.
