USPS – General Settings

You can reach the plugin settings by choosing the WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → USPS Live Rates from the sidebar.

API Settings

In order to offer your customers the available USPS services based on the order details and display them in the cart and checkout, you need to own a USPS account with USPS Web Tools API access granted and enter your USPS Web Tools API USERID acquired during the registration process in the plugin settings.

If you do not have a USERID yet, register for USPS Web Tools now or follow the instructions from our guide on how to obtain the USPS Web Tools API access →

USPS Web Tools API USERID *

– fill in this field with the credentials you acquired during the USPS account registration process.

PRO Custom Origin

– use this option to use the different shipper’s address to calculate the live rates than the one defined in the WooCommerce settings. It is especially useful e.g. when you ship the products directly from the warehouse located in a different place than your shop’s address.

If not enabled, the address you’ve entered at WooCommerce → Settings → General → Store Address will be used by default. If ticked, the additional Origin AddressOrigin CityOrigin Postcode and Origin Country/State fields will appear below.

Please be advised that each shipping method that uses USPS plugin can have its own Custom Origin. To learn more about Multiple Custom Origins feature – read this article →
