Let’s focus on automatic box packing. If the customer orders multiple products that don’t fit into one or more boxes, the plugin will automatically split them into UPS boxes and display the cost for multiple packages.
Basically, products in the cart are matched to selected types of packages from the smallest ones. The plugin calculates quantity and types of packages, and then get live rates shipping costs directly from UPS API. It’s very important to also enable Fallback. In the same window, enable fallback in Fallback field and set the Fallback Cost. That shipping cost will be applied if there are no UPS services available or the plugin detects some error.
Last thing is to set dimensions and weight of all products in your WooCommerce store. If they won’t be set, the plugin will use the fallback cost of shipping. If the ordered product exceeds the dimensions of the package, the plugin will throw fallback (if it’s set up).
