{"id":249887,"date":"2022-02-21T00:30:35","date_gmt":"2022-02-20T23:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/octolize.com\/?p=247492"},"modified":"2022-09-01T09:28:42","modified_gmt":"2022-09-01T07:28:42","slug":"vitreks-story","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/octolize.com\/es\/blog\/vitreks-story\/","title":{"rendered":"Vitrek&#8217;s Story"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since 1990, <strong>Vitrek<\/strong> has provided innovative global solutions for High Voltage Test and Measurement.\u00a0Vitrek supplies Precision High Voltage Measurement Standards to national laboratories and calibration labs around the world and their Graphical Power Analyzers set the standard for world class performance at a very economical price.<\/p>\n<p>This unique combination of capabilities positions Vitrek as a world leader in providing test solutions to the photovoltaic, medical equipment, power conversion, electrical component and appliance industries.<\/p>\n<h2>Challenge<\/h2>\n<p>The challenge that Vitrek faced was to display live UPS rates in their store and set a free shipping threshold for one of the UPS services.<\/p>\n<p>Vitrek online shop wanted to offer four tiers of UPS shipping:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>UPS Next Day Air Saver<\/li>\n<li>UPS 3 Day Select<\/li>\n<li>UPS Next Day Air<\/li>\n<li>UPS Ground<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, free shipping for UPS Ground only, on orders over $ 100, had to be included. If a customer decided that they would like their products to be shipped faster than UPS Ground, they should be able to choose between free shipping or paying for one of the UPS Air services.<\/p>\n<h2>Solution<\/h2>\n<h3>Displaying live rates<\/h3>\n<p>Flat Rate shipping may work in online stores that only offer one shipping rate. When the shipping cost should include different recipient addresses, products weight \/ dimensions and multiple courier services, Flat Rate is just not good enough.<\/p>\n<p>With the use of UPS WooCommerce Live Rates and Access Points PRO plugin, real-time rates are automatically available via the UPS API. Since UPS offers a variety of services, with our plugin, as a store owner, you have the option of displaying the services you want your customers to choose from.<\/p>\n<p>This was the solution that Vitrek decided to use for their online store, and we helped implement it.<\/p>\n<h3>Free Shipping<\/h3>\n<p>When managing your store, you want to have full control over shipping costs. Using our plugins you can make sure your customers pay for each shipment the exact amount that you want.<\/p>\n<p>Free shipping is something that can help you boost your sales. Therefore, our UPS Live Rates plugin allows you to set the free shipping threshold for selected UPS services.<\/p>\n<h2>Results<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Time saved on shipping cost setup.<\/li>\n<li>Live shipping rates displayed.<\/li>\n<li>Free shipping offered to boost sales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Feedback<\/h2>\n<p>We&#8217;ve found both your product and your support to be top notch.
